The Amazing BRMCWC Writing Awards Ceremony You Don’t Want to Miss

by DiAnn Mills @DiAnnMills

The music industry has its Grammys. The movie industry has its Oscars. Broadway has its Tonys. And Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference has two awards for writers who work within our industry. And so it is, that every year, writers and writing professional who attend BRMCWC look forward to the writer award ceremony.

Conference contest director Eva Marie Everson begins the evening by presenting the industry-wide Selah Awards, which recognize the best work within Christian publishing during the past year. These awards range from Children’s Literature to a wide range of genres within fiction and nonfiction. Following this, Eva Marie will present The Foundations Awards, which recognize the top writing of the attending conferees.

This is an evening for dressing up, but all types of dress are welcomed. We hope to make this and evening for celebrating writing and those who have excelled in the craft.

How better to conclude the Awards Ceremony than with a desert reception? Your purchase of a conference meal ticket covers this scrumptious event where we gather and enjoy a sweet treat while celebrating each other.

We writers have our individual adventures on the way to achieving our publishing goals, but the awards gala is everyone’s night to shine. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s special evening.
