Details About the Onsite Bookstore at BRMCWC

The 2019 Blue Ridge Mountains Christian Writers Conference is coming up fast. And we’re continuing our practice of allowing attendees to offer books for sale in our conference bookstore. This includes traditionally published books and self-published books. The fee for consigning books is 20% of the purchase price of each book sold.

To qualify to have books available, you must be registered for the ENTIRE conference.

There are guidelines that must be followed, so be sure to read the following information carefully.

There is also a firm cut-off date of April 17, so be sure to watch the calendar.

Following are the instructions on how to prepare your books for the BRMCWC Bookstore. BRMCWC will deduct a 20% service fee from all sales.

  1. If you are shipping your books they must arrive no earlier than 5/10 and marked “Hold for BRMCWC 5/19.” (Shipping charges are your responsibility.)

Ship to:

Attn: Melissa  Inman
Ridgecrest Conference Center
1 Ridgecrest Dr
Ridgecrest, NC 28770

Remember, when deciding how many books to bring, you will be responsible for getting them back home.

  1. Print and fill out the Bookstore Inventory Form and bring with you to the conference. Be sure to include your name, address, and cell phone number.  BRMCWC 2019 BOOKSTORE INVENTORY FORM (CLICK HERE)
  2. All books/other products should be priced with removable price stickers.
    1. Round price to nearest dollar.
    2. If you plan to have extra books/products in a box under the table, be sure to have all books/products priced with removable price stickers (these must be included in the total inventory).
    3. Conferees will be able to use credit/debit cards when purchasing books.
    4. Display space is limited. Bookstore personnel will be glad to rotate stock from beneath the table for you.
  1. Sales Tax – Faculty/conferees are responsible for paying their own sales tax.
  2. E-mail Johndgilden@aol.com of your arrival date/time and cell phone number (please put BRMCWC Book Store on subject line) and you will be assigned a time to check your books in. (Notify John if you are a faculty member.) Please check your books in at the bookstore at your assigned time.
  3. Please check your books in at the bookstore at your assigned time. E-mail Johndgilden@aol.com for an assigned time. Bookstore personnel will confirm the quantity of books/products with you and keep the inventory form. There will be a sheet for you to sign up for a time to pick up any books/products at the end of the conference.
  4. At your assigned pick-up time, you will need to confirm the book/product count with the bookstore personnel. The inventory sheet should be signed by both you and the bookstore personnel to confirm quantity sold. (No payment will be made unless the form is completed and signed.)

Please don’t “borrow” any of your books/products once they are checked in. If you want to have copies of your books for any reason, please do not include them in the book store inventory. This minimizes confusion and you don’t have to remember to bring the book/s back to the store.
