I’m visiting friends before the BRMCWC, so I thought I’d share a fun writing prompt. Here is a list of today’s holidays. International Hamburger Day anyone?!

Pick one of these holidays and write a story, no more than 500 words, about it. Maybe a couple meets at a National Brisket Day cook off, or someone is killed by eating poisoned slugs for Slugs Return From Capistrano Day. Have fun with it, and if you would like, post your story in the comments.
