What an incredibly jam-packed and Spirit-filled start to the conference! Steven James kicked off Sunday evening by delighting…and scaring…the audience a few times with his skilled story-telling abilities. Today, conferees enjoyed their first full day of classes, keynotes, and we were thoroughly blessed to honor agent Les Stobbe for over sixty years of service in Christian publishing. Our awesome worship leaders – Russell and Kristi! Tonight’s lead-off was a medley of love songs that all use the same four chords. Fun and energetic, these two truly bring you into the throne room of God.

We had a few people with birthdays yesterday, including one of our amazing faculty members, Lucinda Secrest McDowell!

We celebrated Les Stobbe’s sixty-plus years of service in Christian publishing. The lineup of speakers who honored him with stories about how Les touched their lives and took a chance on a new writer left many in the audience a little teary-eyed.
