BRMCWC Book Store Info

Following are the instructions on how to prepare your books for the BRMCWC Bookstore. BRMCWC will deduct a 20% service fee from all sales.

The deadline for requesting an appointment to have your books carried by the onsite bookstore is May 1, 2021. See details below.

Due to the limited space in the bookstore, we will not be able to carry non-book items again this year.

If you are shipping your books they must arrive no earlier than 5/24 and marked “Hold for BRMCWC 5/29.” (Shipping charges are your responsibility.)

Ship to:

Attn: Melissa  Inman

Ridgecrest Conference Center

1 Ridgecrest Dr

Ridgecrest, NC 28770

Remember, when deciding how many books to bring, you will be responsible for getting them back home.

Due to the limited space in the Bookstore, we are asking that you limit the number of titles you place in the store.

  • Faculty will be limited to 6 titles
  • Conferees will be limited to 3 titles
  1. Print and fill out the Bookstore Inventory Form and bring it with you to the conference. Be sure to include your name, address, and cell phone number.  BRMCWC 2021 BOOKSTORE INVENTORY FORM (CLICK HERE)
  2. All books should be priced with removable price stickers.
    1. Round price to the nearest dollar.
    2. If you plan to have extra books in a box under the table, be sure to have all books priced with removable price stickers (these must be included in the total inventory).
    3. Conferees will be able to use credit/debit cards when purchasing books.
    4. Display space is limited. Bookstore personnel will be glad to rotate stock from beneath the table for you.
  3. Sales Tax – Faculty/conferees are responsible for paying their own sales tax.
  4. E-mail Johndgilden@gmail.com of your arrival date/time and cell phone number (please put BRMCWC Bookstore on the subject line) and you will be assigned an appointment time to check your books in. (Notify John if you are a faculty member.) Please check your books in at the bookstore at your assigned appointment time.
  5. Bookstore personnel will confirm the quantity of books with you and keep the inventory form. There will be a sheet for you to sign up for a time to pick up any books at the end of the conference.
  6. At your assigned pick-up time, you will need to confirm the book count with the bookstore personnel. The inventory sheet should be signed by both you and the bookstore personnel to confirm the quantity sold. (No payment will be made unless the form is completed and signed.)

Please don’t “borrow” any of your books once they are checked in. If you want to have copies of your books for any reason (such as using them in your class, giving them to your roommate, etc), please do not include them in the bookstore inventory. This minimizes confusion and you don’t have to remember to bring the books back to the store.
