Joel Armstrong is content editor and product developer for Our Daily Bread Publishing. He enjoys both developmental editing, when he gets to come alongside authors early in the process to shape their manuscripts, and line editing, when he gets to contemplate the joys of a well-placed semicolon. He actively acquires for ODBP, meeting with agents and reviewing incoming proposals, and he checks all pre-press proofs as one of the last pairs of eyes to see every book ODBP produces. Previously Joel was an editor at Kregel Publications and worked on a range of Christian nonfiction, fiction, and children’s books.
Joel lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife (a birth photographer) and their two daughters. He enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, and getting to the beaches of Lake Michigan as often as possible.
