What Nonfiction Genre Works Best for You and Your Audience

Class Description: Act I/II

Have a message on your mind? Great! Let’s take a look at how to deliver your book in the write style.

Included in this class will be:

- Audience Expectation - The type of content you push out needs to compliment your book/book proposal.

- Long-term Goal - Is this something you want to talk about for the next 2-3 years?

- Style - Is it painful to condense a story down to 500 words or less? Or do you thrive with this? Devos might be for you. If you can’t imagine telling a story in less than 3,500 words you need to stick with a chapter book.

- Platform - What genre needs more platform to sell more books vs an evergreen topic potentially in a devotional that can somewhat sell on its own

Location & Schedule

This class will be held in Johnson Spring 4

  • Single Session: Wednesday, May 27th @ 1:30pm
