Class Description: Act II/III
Marketing a book after it has launched is often an overlooked opportunity. It’s a season of big advantage too - the ability to think and strategize without the frantic publishing and marketing deadlines piled on top of each other! This workshop will focus on ways to help keep your title in the forefront.
Key Strategies (framework of the class):
- Something to focus on when the post launch blues settle in
- Reframe your strategy for the long-term
- Find connection points in your book to current headlines
- Ways to tie your book to upcoming holidays or events
- Continue seeking outlets to talk to – especially podcasts
-- There are millions of podcasts. Surely there are some you or your publicist didn’t reach out to
- Partnerships with other authors for tours, giveaways, and cross promotions
- Get a book club or study group to go through the book
- Keep after those Amazon reviews
