Lori Stanley Roeleveld is a traditionally published author, speaker, and disturber of hobbits. Lori makes a living with words through a variety of methods including coaching, freelance, editing, and ghostwriting. She’s authored six award-winning, traditionally published books, contributed to fifteen+ more, and releases book seven in 2026. Through Take Heart! Coaching and Freelance, Lori has coached over 200 Christian writers toward their goals.

Lori’s books have received 1st place awards in the Selahs, Golden Scrolls, and Director’s Choice (BRMCWC), including Golden Scrolls Christian Book of the Year 2024. Lori writes online content for Salem Media websites and is also a Guideposts writer. Though she has degrees in psychology and biblical studies, Lori learned the most from studying her Bible in life’s trenches.
